We want everyone to feel welcome at the Science Festival. If you have any questions about access or support on-site, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Hearing & Communication

  • Sign language interpreters: Stage program from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Tour of the festival grounds from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. (meeting point: stage)

  • Live transcription of the stage program

  • Hearing assistance (available against deposit at the info tent)

Mobility

  • Ramps at every tent

  • Accessible restrooms

  • Getting there: You can find the low-barrier route by public transport, car, or elevator here: Mainziel.de

For Families

  • Baby changing facilities

All Genders

  • Gender-neutral restroom

Sensory Reduction

  • Quiet room (at the info tent)

  • "Sensory bags" for neurodivergent visitors: ear protection, sunglasses, fidgets, and communication cards (available against deposit at the info tent)
