The DIPF | Leibniz Institute for Research and Information in Education works to address key challenges in education and plays a leading role in advancing research in this field. Our goal is to promote high-quality, responsible, equitable education that is internationally connected.

Through educational research, digital infrastructure, and targeted knowledge transfer, we support researchers, universities, schools, early childhood education centers, as well as public administration and policymakers.

DIPF is a member of the Leibniz Association. Around 370 staff members at our locations in Frankfurt am Main and Berlin generate, share, and document knowledge about education.

We are showing 2 games, a quiz game and a dilemma game, where you can learn about climate protection. The games are the result of a Horizon Europe project in which we are working with the United Nations Development Program to support climate policy with data. Come along and try out the games!

Using virtual reality technology, we want to teach a basic and important running strategy called “pacing”. To this end, the start of a race competition through the streets of Frankfurt can be experienced virtually.
