Why are animal experiments conducted in research—and what rules apply? At this booth, staff members from institutions within the Frankfurt Alliance will provide insights into this sensitive and important topic. Learn why some scientific questions can currently only be studied using living organisms, the significance of animal experiments for basic research and medical progress, and how they are regulated by law. The discussion will also focus on how researchers protect animal welfare and are working to replace, reduce, and refine animal testing.
