Using a Meta Quest 3, visitors can explore our ArtLab virtually — a research and event space at the MPIEA where scientific studies are conducted under realistic conditions. The three-minute VR experience offers an immersive tour through the multifunctional hall and provides insight into current research on aesthetic perception. In the ArtLab, researchers study facial expressions, gestures, physical responses, and audience evaluations during concerts, lectures, and multimedia performances, among other things. State-of-the-art audio, video, and sensor technology enables the precise collection of a wide range of data in real time.
